Firsts for Charlotte

Well since I last posted there have been lots of firsts for Charlotte. She had her first taste of ice cream....which she loved, once she got past the cold. She had never eaten anything that cold before so it was a bit of a shock at first. But now she just dives right in and is not patient about waiting for the next spoonful. We took Charlotte to the beach for the first time, but she was not impressed. She slept the whole time we walked along the beach. Guess we didn't need those sand pails after all. Other firsts include being pushed on a swing and playing in her new sandbox. She liked the swing at first....until she looked down and then wanted out! She warmed up to the sandbox pretty quickly and only ate one handful. Maybe she'll like the sand at the beach after all.

Charlotte had her 15 month check-up and weighed 19 lbs. and was 29.5 inches long....so she is a petite little girl but very healthy!! She is eating VERY well and has a healthy diet....our diet should be so good. She has become quite accomplished at cruising along the furniture and has figured out drawers and cabinets (the next level of child proofing has begun). She says a few more words including 'all done' and bottle (pronounced Ba!), and her comprehension is increasing rapidly. Well that's all for now.....enjoy the pictures.

The "fun" has just begun. Soon Charlotte will be talking non-stop and cruising through the house. Thanks for keeping us posted. We look forward to every update.
