Journey to Charlotte Grace ShiCi: One Year Ago Today....

One year ago today we were united with Charlotte Grace ShiCi. It's hard to believe a year has gone by since our little angel was placed in our arms. Since then she has been an absolute joy!! It has been wonderful to watch her change and grow; from rolling over to running, from staring suspiciously to uncontrollable belly laughter, from very quiet to continuous babbling and learning of new words. I just wish we could do it all over again....she is growing up too fast!

We had a great day of celebration. It was a beautiful sunny and 80F day. How often do you get to wear shorts in December, it was quite unusual. We first went to the NC Zoo where Charlotte enjoyed seeing lots of exotic animals; the gorillas were her favorite because they were lying down right in front of her. When we got home Charlotte played in her sandbox and on her swing (did I mention it was 80F). We then went to dinner at our favorite Asian restaurant where Charlotte ate sea bass and spicy noodles. What a wonderful day!!
